Two rooms, both quarterly, both for senior leaders in NGO health, community and human services. Register your interest and Susanne will be in touch when the next one is set.

The Peer Room

Where chief executives read what is coming, alongside their peers.

Chief executives are expected to read what is coming. Boards expect it, funders expect it, and the organisation depends on it. Most of the rooms a chief executive looks in for perspective are full of stakeholders with expectations of their own. Few are peer to peer without the need to perform.

The Peer Room is a small table under the Chatham House Rule. The morning opens with networking, then a theme and a set of questions Susanne brings, shaped by what is shifting across the sector. She structures the conversation where structure helps and lets it run where it does not, draws out the voices in the room, and adds her own read where it serves the conversation.

Brisbane runs quarterly. Susanne also runs the Peer Room in other cities when her work takes her there, and those are not on a set schedule. The form asks where you are, and that is what decides where the next table outside Brisbane sits.

Who comes. Chief executives of NGOs in health, community and human services are invited to come. Curated for cross-sector mix, and capped at the size of the table.

Each Peer Room produces a published insights document, so the thinking reaches further than the table. Read the insights.

The Wider Lens

See more. Think wider. Connect across sectors.

Senior leaders in NGO health, community and human services usually read the sector from one seat. When pressures begin to interact, the leader reading from one organisation is the last to see the pattern.

The Wider Lens puts them at curated cross-sector tables. The tables work the questions in front of them. What has come up is then surfaced across the room: the patterns, the signals, and what people are taking into the next quarter.

Susanne facilitates throughout, drawing out the insights and adding her own.
